The Derawan Islands are in the province of East Kalimantan in Indonesia. They include Derawan, Sangalaki, Kakaban, Maratua, Panjang, and Samama Island and submerged reefs and islets. They are located in the Sulawesi Sea, on the coastal shelf of East Kalimantan.
Day 01: Berau - Derawan- Island (L-D)
Upon arrival at Kalimarau airport, meeting service and transfer to harbor to boarding a boat and cross the Sulawesi Sea to Derawan Island. Check in at Losmen, or local house, Lunch, afternoon possibility for snorkeling or Derawan village sightseeing. free program.
Day 02: Kakaban- Maratua - Sangalaki (B-L-D)
After breakfast, heading to Kakaban island famous for their stingless jellyfish lake. Afterwards continue to Maratua Island (depends on the weather) which is famous for their beautiful landscape. See and experience swimming with Indonesian’s sea turtle. then continues to Sangalaki Island for snorkeling around the island, visit sea turtles conservation, or just sit back and relax on the beach while enjoying the island’s beautiful scenery. Back to derawan island free program optional : fun dive or banana boat, diiner at local restaurant.
Day 03 : Berau - Departure ( Kalimantan Airport) (B)
Breakfast at local restaurant, check out and transfer berau ( by boat & car ) ,shopping souvenir if time permitted, transfer out kalimarau airport. Tour end.
